Was the ground hog right?
Whether or not we can expect another 5-6 weeks of "winter", we can still prepare for spring!
The days have been lengthening since December (which we really notice with the sunshine) and we've even experienced milder climate! Whatever this does for your spirits, think of the glee it brings to the weeds!
That's right! Along with the crocuses that are now bursting forth, those plants called weeds are also stretching out and popping up.
Our crews have already been combating weeds on properties in the dark winter months, in preparation for earliest growth!
If your property is on the schedule or has been treated, do nothing with those weeds showing themselves. The weeds should remain intact while the weed killer does its work on each one. After an alloted time, our crew will come back through, pulling those unsightly intrusions.
